山本美保さん失踪事件の謎を今、改めて追え！

山本美保さん失踪時とその後の状況について、美保さんの双子の妹さんである森本美砂さんにお話しを伺いました。（質問者：荒木代表）

Mrs. Misa Morimoto who is Miss Miho Yamamoto’s twin sister told us about the situation at the time of Miho’s disappearance and after that. This is a summary of what Misa told us.  

(The questioner is Mr. Araki, the representative of RBRA.)

  야마모토 미호 씨 실종 당시와 그 후의 상황에 대해서, 미호 씨의 쌍동이 여동생인, 모리모토 미사 씨에게 이야기를 해 주셨습니다.  （질문자는, 아라키 당회 대표입니다.） 

森本美砂さん：  そして 4 日後に、「新潟県の柏崎に鞄が落ちてますよ。」という警察からの電話が家にあり、もう本当にびっくりしまして…。 

私はその時、教育実習のために行けず、両親と伯父が柏崎に飛んで二日間、隈なく辺りを探しました。でも、その鞄以外の手がかりは何もなく帰って来ました。  本当にあの、家族に黙って外泊などする姉ではなかったので、「何処に行ったのか？」という…両親も、特に母などは居間から一歩も出られずに、ひたすら電話を待っていた、という感じでした。 

Mrs. Misa Morimoto:

4 days after that day, we got a call from the police saying, “Miho’s bag was left and found in Kashiwazaki, Niigata prefecture.” Of course, we were really surprised. 

At that time, I couldn’t go to Kashiwazaki because I was attending teaching programs to be a teacher.  So, my parents and my uncle rushed there and searched for 2 days. But they came back with no clues other than the bag. 

 My sister Miho was not the kind of woman who would stay out without telling family, so everyone in my family worried about “Where did she go?” Especially, my mother always kept staying in the living room to keep waiting for any call from Miho.

모리모토 미사 씨： 그리고 4 일 후에, “니가타현 카시와자키에서 미호 씨의 가방이 떨어졌어요.”라는 경찰로부터의 전화가 집에 걸려와서, 매우 놀랐습니다.

그때, 나는 교육 실습 때문에 카시와자키에는 갈 수 없고,  부모님과 삼촌이 카시와자키로 급행하여, 이틀 동안, 현장 주변을 꼼꼼하게 수색했습니다. 하지만, 그 가방 이외의 단서는 아무것도 없는채, 돌아왔습니다.

 가족들에게 몰래 외박을 하는, 그런 언니가 아니었기 때문에,

“어디로 가버렸을까?” 라고 걱정했고, 부모님, 특히 어머니는 거실에서 한 발짝도 나가지 않고, 오로지 전화 연락을 계속 기다리고 있었습니다.

 そして長い年月が経つんですけれども、姉の失踪から半年後に、その頃から 4 年間、無言電話がありまして…。合計 15 回程になるのですが、すぐに切れる電話が多かったのですけれども、3 年 4 ヶ月後と 3 年 6 ヶ月後の電話は本当に長い電話で、ずっと切らずにこちらの様子を 10 分ぐらい様子を見てる、聞いてるという電話でした。 

もう姉だと思いましたので、みんなで「美保ちゃんでしょ、元気？どこにいるの？」という風に必死で呼びかけて、一回はすすり泣くような声とか、あとはかすかに「元気？」という問いかけに対して、

「元気…」という風に息を殺すような声で答えた電話がありました。 

そういう電話があって、もう「姉だ！」とは思っていたんですけれども、背景音には、山梨のコマーシャルソングが流れていたりしたので、「山梨にいるんだ！」と思うような電話でした。でもそんな電話もいつしかなくなり…。そんな状況でいなくなったということです。 

And a long time has passed. About half a year after Miho’s disappearance, and in the next 4 years, silent phone calls came to our home from time to time in a total of 15 times. And many of that calls were hung up immediately. But there were 2 long calls. One was a call came to us 3 years and 4 months after, the other was a call came to us 3 years and 6 months after Miho’s disappearance. Someone (maybe Miho?) who called us watched the movements of us without hanging up for about 10 minutes.    

We thought, “It must be Miho” and called out earnestly, “Are you Miho?  Are you all right? ” Then, the someone (maybe Miho)’s reaction was a sobbing voice, or in response to the question “Are you all right?” there was a response in a breathless voice, “Yes…” and so on.

Since we received such phone calls, we thought it was “Miho”.

But in the background sound, a commercial song from Yamanashi Prefecture was playing. So, those phone calls made us think this person on the phone (maybe Miho) was in Yamanashi.

After a while, such calls stopped coming.  Miho disappeared in such situation. 

그리고, 오랜 세월이 경과했습니다. 언니가 실종된 후, 약 반년 후부터, 4 년 정도, 무음 전화가 집에 걸려왔습니다. 총 15 회 정도가 되어서, 바로 끊어지는 전화가 많았는데, 언니의 실종으로부터 3년4개월 후, 그리고3년6개월 후에 걸려온 전화는 정말 긴 통화였습니다.  10 분 정도 전화를 끊지 않고, 우리의 상황을 전화를 통해 엿보고 있었습니다.

언니라고 생각했기 때문에, 가족 모두가“미호야? 잘 지내?” 라고 열심히 호소했습니다. 흐느끼는 듯한 목소리로 대답한 적도 있었고, “잘 지내?” 라는 질문에 대해, “응, 잘 지내…” 라고, 숨을 죽인 희미한 목소리로 대답한 적도 있었습니다.

그런 전화가 걸려왔기 때문에,“언니로부터 온 전화임에 틀림없다,”라고 생각했지만, 배경음에는 야마나시현 에서 방송되고 있던 커머셜 송이 흐르고 있었기 때문에, “야마나시현에 있는 걸까?”라고 생각한 전화였습니다. 하지만, 그런 전화도 

이윽고 오지 않게 되었습니다. 그런 상황에서 실종되었습니다. 

荒木代表： 

本当にあの、みんな大体まさか…という感じでいなくなるんですけれども。これは「レブラ君と怪しい仲間たち」なので、是非とも、特に自衛官の方には聞いてもらいたいのですが…。 

実は、私が朝霞で予備自衛官の訓練を受けていた時に美砂さんか

らお電話があり、それは、「どうやったら自衛隊に入れるのですか？」というお電話だったのですね。要するに、「自分もいざという時にお姉さんを助けに行きたい！」ということであり、「自衛隊の入隊担当者に連絡して下さい。」というお話をその時はしまして…。結局それは無理だったのですが…。 

でも、そういう思いだった方が、ご家族でもいらっしゃったということを是非、知っておくべきであると思いました。 

Mr. Araki :

All missing people disappeared unexpectedly like that and this program is “Rebura-kun and suspicious friends.” 

So, I really want to let all self-defense force members know by all means…  

To tell you the truth, when I was being trained at the Asaka Station of ground self-defense force, I received a call from Mrs. Misa Morimoto. It was a phone call that said, “How can I get into  the self-defense force?”

In short, “If the time comes, I also want to go to help my sister.  ” That’s exactly it. I replied, “Please contact the person in charge of enlistment in the self-defense force.” 

In the end, it was impossible…

But we should know that there are people who thought that way even in the family members of the abducting victims. 

아라키 대표:   여러분, 대체로 “설마,” 라는 느낌으로 실종되었습니다. 이 방송은 “레브라군과 수상한 동료들” 이기 때문에, 꼭, 특히 자위관 여러분께 들어주셨으면 합니다만,…  실은, 제가 아사카 주둔지에서 예비 자위관 훈련을 받고 있을 때, 미사 씨로부터 전화가 왔습니다. 용건은, “어떻게 하면 저도 자위대에 들어갈 수 있을까요?” 라는 것이고, 요컨대, “저도 급할 때 언니를 돕고 싶습니다” 라는 것이었습니다.

그때는 “자위대 입대 담당자에게 연락해 주세요” 라는 이야기를 했습니다. 결국, 그건 무리였습니다만…  

하지만, 그런 생각을 가지고 있던 분이 피해자 가족 중에도 있었다는 것을 꼭, 알아야 합니다. 

次回の話にも繋がりますが、「山本美保さんの失踪は拉致に違いない！」ということが最初に大きく出たのが読売新聞の報道ですよね。あれは、帰国された 5 人の拉致被害者の方々が帰って来る前の、2002 年 9 月の終わりでした。 

  It will also relate to the next episode, Yomiuri Shimbun is the first newspaper reported that “Miss. Miho Yamamoto’s disappearance must be abduction” and it was reported in September 2002. It was just before the return of the 5 abducted victims from North Korea to Japan.

다음 이야기로도 이어질 것입니다만….“야마모토 미호 씨의 실종은 납치임에 틀림없다!”고 처음 크게 보도한 것은 요미우리 신문이었습니다. 그것은, 귀국한 5 명의 납치 피해자 분들이 귀국하기 전인 2002 년 9 월 하순이었습니다.

森本美砂さん：先に、7 月に新潟に捜しに行った折に、地元紙…新潟の読売新聞と柏崎日報に、「双子のお姉さんを追って、北朝鮮にいるんじゃないかと探しに来ている妹さんがいます！」という記事が結構載ったのですけれども、でもそれだけで、特に後追いもなかったので、「まあ、こんなものかな…」と思ったんですけれども。 

新潟では、「拉致かも知れないですね。」、特に「こいつは拉致ですよ！」と言って下さったので、私は 7 月の段階では動いてはいたんですけれども…。 

Mrs. Misa Morimoto:

 Before that, when I went to Niigata in search of my sister in July, the local newspapers, Yomiuri Shimbun Niigata Edition and the Kashiwazaki-Nippou reported about me as follows, “To find missing sister, an woman is coming to Niigata. She is looking for Miss. Miho Yamamoto who is her twin sister and suspected of being abducted by North Korea.”  But there was no follow-up report. So I thought, “Well, I wonder if it’s like this…” 

In Niigata, it was said that “Miho’s case must be abducting by North Korea.”  So, I had already started to move in July. 

모리모토 미사 씨：    먼저,7 월에 니가타에 수색하러 갔을 때, 현지 신문：요미우리 신문 니가타판과 카시와자키 일보가 “북한에 의해 납치된 것으로 의심되는 쌍동이 언니를 찾기 위해 카시와자키에 오신 여동생이 계십니다.” 라는 보도를 해 주셨습니다. 하지만, 그때만 끝나고, 속보는 없었기 때문에, “뭐,이런 정도일까...” 라고 생각했습니다. 

니가타에서는, “이것은 납치의혹이 농후하네요.” 라고 말했기 때문에, 저는 7 월 시점에서 움직이고 있었습니다.

荒木代表：  読売の全国版に載っかったのは9月の23日ですよね。だから、9.17 の小泉訪朝の約 1 週間後ということです。 

ここからですね、特に同級生の方々などが非常に動いてくれまして、山梨県は人口 80 万の県なのですが、20 万人もの署名が集まるということでですね、甲府の街中に幟（のぼり）がずっと立って、市役所にも垂れ幕がかかって…ということだったんですが、「逆にそれが変な方向へ動いたきっかけになってしまったかもしれない …。」ということでもあります。それはちょっと次回、またお話し頂きたいと思います。 

Mr. Araki :

Yomiuri Shimbun national edition reported it on September 23, about a week after Prime Minister Koizumi’s visit to North Korea on September 17.

From this time, especially Miho’s classmates in her school days worked to help Miho so much. The population of Yamanashi Prefecture is 800,000, and surprisingly, 200,000 of them signed to appeal for the rescue of Miho. In addition, banners set up throughout Kofu city, and great hanging banners were hung at the Kofu city hall.  But on the contrary, it may have caused the situation to move in an unexpected direction.

I would like you to talk about this matter next time. 

아라키 대표:

요미우리 신문 전국판에서 보도된 날은 9 월 23 일이었습니다. 그래서, 9 월17 일 고이즈미 총리의 방조일에서 약1 주일 후였습니다.

이때부터, 특히 미호 씨의 학생 시절 동창 분들 등이 크게 활동해 주었습니다. 야마나시현은 인구80 만 명의 현입니다만, 그중 20 만 명이나  서명이 모였습니다.

고후의 거리 곳곳에 깃발이 세워졌고, 시청에도 현수막이 걸렸습니다만,  “반대로 그것이, 생각지도 못한 방향으로 상황이 움직여 버렸을지도 모릅니다. ” 그것에 관해서는 다음에 이야기해 주셨으면 합니다.
