The Japan Youth Rehabilitation Association (Zentsuji City), the Rescue Association Kagawa (Takamatsu City), and the Reserve Blue Ribbon Association jointly held a screening. In Kagawa Prefecture, the film was screened at a local cinema (Takamatsu City) two years ago, but this time it was held in Zentsuji City, in the western part of the prefecture, where the headquarters of the Japan Ground Self-Defense Force's 14th Brigade is located.
Participants came not only from Zentsuji City but also from surrounding municipalities, and even from as far away as the other three prefectures of Shikoku and Okayama Prefecture. All participants also cooperated in the signature campaign. Members of the Kagawa Prefecture Veterans Association, who sponsored the event, also participated.
The participants' feedback was:
"I didn't realize that there were three specific missing persons in Kagawa Prefecture and one person from outside the prefecture."
"Recapture by force is also necessary."
"I want to know what I can do in my local area."
"I would like to cooperate if there are any activities in Kagawa Prefecture to raise awareness about the abduction case."
We received feedback such as the above.
In Kagawa Prefecture, we hold a signature campaign in front of JR Takamatsu Station on the fourth Sunday of every month,
Many people are unaware that specific missing persons actually exist, so we will continue our awareness campaign. Our hope is that this will become a national movement and a driving force to influence the government.
